Weight Bench?
i have a limited amount of space and im looking for a decent weight bench, something that can fold up into the closet, most of my workout are with dumbbells atm.
any help appreciated thanks
Try going to Keysfitness.com we carry their full line at my store and a basic flat bench (approx. 50) can fit anywhere if your looking for a more standard bench with incline and decline features then try the keys beginner bench (approx. $100)

Best way to build my own weight bench?
I want to build my own bench for bench-pressing weights, on a seriously tight budget, but without sacrificing personal safety.
What is the best method for someone who cannot weld? Would a metal frame be able to bear the weight if it was screwed/ bolted together in my back garden out of old scrap?
It would have to be able to hold my weight plus the barbell so about 300lbs max.
Would wood be a cheaper alternative to scrap metal- if so which wood in particular and how would I join it?
In the interests of safety I have a friend in the construction industry who'll do any work that might affect structural rigidity/ safety so no worries there. I am not concerned about how the bench looks in the slightest as long as it does the job.
All I am worried about is that the two uprights won't buckle under the weight of the barbell from 80lbs-150lbs), and the bench won't snap under my weight (165lbs).
Thanks!
Try using 2 inch lead or steal pipe with threaded ends. Get the appropriate connectors. Build a frame with this and use would for the bench part and you should be just fine.

What to do with a weight bench when it becomes a dryer for clothes?
I have this ONE piece of workout equpment in sight daily, I need to use it since I am dieting, but it is less appealing by the moment, so throw it in the garage, or get with it and use it ...??
What is the best tummy stuff to do while working out with a weight bench?
set aside sometime each day...like 30min am....remove the cloths...hang up a picture of you now...and clip from a magazine a body of you later....get a good exercise book and some music.
feet on the floor..arms across chest.sit up...keep feet on floor repeat
you can start slow and build up...keep that 30 min or even 15 for the same time every day, if you don't work out...look at the pictures, nothing else for the allotted time...make your favorite drink water,
and your favorite snack fruit or veg...DO IT, it's the one thing you will never regret

What kind of weight bench and weights should a beginner get?
I want to get a weight bench and weights. Dousnt have to be anything fancy, just aslong as it gets results. Thaks
Oops, meant "Thanks"
Actually, get a nice set in the beginning, because you will be able to add to it as you get into more weight training, and matching parts look good as well as interchange with the various bars and locks that hold the weights on the bar. Go to the local bookstore and pick up a weight training magazine like Flex, etc, and check out sets there, get something that is coated wnd wont rust and the bars and all are chromed so sweat wont rust it.

looking for recommendations on a really good weight bench?
Hi, I'm trying to find a weight bench for my husband as a gift. I'm looking for one that is around $100 (without weights) that has the flat, incline, and decline positions, preacher curl bar, overhead barbell, and leg developer. Can anyone recommend a good sturdy one around that price range? I'm hoping to find an olympic weight bench of some kind because i've heard those are really sturdy and strong, but all recommendations are welcome.
Well the problem is you get what you pay for, and it is highly unlikely that you will find anything new that meets those requirements. Any of the PowerHouse and Weider stuff is generally not bad, that new in the stores even on a great sale your still up over 400 dollars the cage and an adjustable bench. Your best bet is to go the used route, hop on Craig's list people are always trying to get rid of exercise equipment as they don't want reminders of their failures around their house.
Good Luck
