I need help coming up with some significant scenes involving the character Sohrab. So far I have:
1. The Assef scene where Sohrab uses his slingshot and hurts Assef
2. The end where Sohrab cracks a smile when flying the kite after a long
At the mosque when Sohrab says to Aamir that he forgetting his father's face. Is that bad?? That is one of the most touching scenes.
Significant to the story? Sohrab cutting his wrists.

Well in the book Assef is almost killing Amir, and the Hassan's son points the slingshot at Assefs face, just like Hassan did in their childhood days.. Can you please explain why this is so ironic..
its ironic cause history is repeating itself, like father like son. maybe the author is saying children will always somehow follow the parents footsteps.
