i have no money and no space so how can i make a gym at home with reletively little?

Get some free weights for lifting, a jump rope, and for you cardio... just run around your neighborhood. Also you should try workout videos, find one that you think might be fun. When you get sick of the regular daily grind, pop in the video and it will keep things intresting.

What is the best home gym at an affordable cost?

I really want to get a nice body and I want to get a home gym so that I don't have to go to the gym. What are some good home gyms and what would be the cost of the machine? Thanks to all who answer!

The best home gym is a towel. Push-ups, sit-ups, stretching, calisthenics, Pilate's, yoga, dance, Tia Chi, don't require equipment.
A mat, rubber exercise band, and a rubber exercise ball, are all you need to do anything that you can do in a gym.

What is a cheap but good quality home gym?

My family and I want to get a satisfying gym for at home. I am a thin teen who wants to be toned and muscular without having to pay big $$ for a home gym. I am not able to work out infront of large mirrors and others, so I've decided to ask my parents for a personal gym. Is there anything that is below $2000 that works just as good as this AXT2 I saw at a hotel?

Almost all home gyms suck. They turn into great clothes racks, however.

Your best bet is free weights. Get an olympic size bench.. something sturdy. (if it's flimsy, you eventually won't use it) and an olympic bar and weight set. Get those dial-a-weight dumbells to save on space. Total cost for all of this - well under a grand and you'll be more likely to use it. Good luck and remember to up your protein intake, and start supplementing vitamin B and creatine monohydrate (in moderation, of course).

How often do you use your home gym equipment?

I am planning on purchasing an ellipical for our home. My husband thinks it's a silly purchase because we won't use it often after the first month or so, and I too am a little worried about this happening.

I was wondering how long you have had your home gym equipment and how often do you still use it?

I know I may use it more or less than other people, I'm just curious about this.

i go to the gym every day. but on days i cant make it i use it. i am a body builder and i am preparing for a contest and i usually cant make it to the gym in the morning because i have work and instead of going up and down i just do cardio in the morning and weight training at the gym. if your husband is a body builder then having a small home gym is a great advantage. home gyms are always not in use as much. but they do come in handy when needed.

What is the best home gym worth the money?

I was thinking about the Bowflex, but I have read it sucks. I want to know if I can buy a great home gym for under $2000 that would actually be any good.. It would be even better if it was only $1000, but whatever. Any information would be good. What is the best home gym in your opinion?
