Has anyone ever used Bowflex and seen good results?

Anyone that has used bowflex can give your expierence that would be great. I bought a bowflex xceed 4 months ago and havenowbeen using it for almost 3 months and i can see some results but people keep telling me it doesnt work?

I bought a PowerPro when they first came out many moons ago and I love it.
I exercise for 30 min every other day and I'm *very* happy with the body it's helped me create.

i just bought a used bowflex sport and it doesnt seem to have much resistance at all. anyone else notice this?

i mean the chest press w/ all 210 lbs is pretty cake and there's no way i could do this w/ dumbells at 105 each side. are these rods spent or is the bowflex just way easier?

i noticed that too i felt that its easier for me to use a lot of weights on them but im not confident whether i could actually lift the real thing on REAL weights it seems really lighter with the bowflex than on the real weights...my niece is like 9 and

I realize it is a good machine for toning and maintaining, but have not heard too much about it's ability to build muscle. I understand that free weights are better for building, but they take up too much room and are more difficult for my wife to use.
